My passion for writing children’s books grew out of an admiration for the children and families I have met in my personal and professional life who have encountered some very difficult circumstances and have not only endured but have grown stronger. It is my desire that “A Journey of Three Friends” will help children look at their own circumstances from a more hopeful perspective and grow from their experiences.

Morning Joy Publishing is a blend of passions God has placed in my heart, including, a love for children and families, and an appreciation for nature. I chose the Monarch Butterfly in the story, “A Journey of Three Friends” not only because of its beauty but because it is the Minnesota State Butterfly.
